As 𝐇𝟐 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒.𝐫.𝐥.𝐬., we are proud to lead as coordinator the 𝐌.𝐒.𝐑.𝐄.𝐆.𝐈.𝐍.𝐀. 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 (Molten Salts Reactor Energy Generator Integrated Nuclear Advanced).

The project aims to develop and demonstrate the engineering feasibility (from TRL6 to TRL8) of a 480 MWth Gen IV chloride molten salt reactor (TES-MSR), operating on a self-breeding Thorium–²³³U cycle with integrated high-enthalpy thermal storage.

Key highlights of the M.S.R.E.G.I.N.A. project:
– Technological integration: High-temperature operation (900–1,200 °C) with C1 v2 salt mixture and closed cycle, achieving near-zero operational emissions.
– Patents and innovation: Validation of the 32-bar enriched ¹⁰B graphite neutron control system and the 12-stage SiC CTGD column for continuous fuel regeneration.

A concrete step toward decarbonization, security, and energy autonomy for the European Union.

1. The Thermodynamic Principle of Love: The Encounter Between the Finite and the Infinite

Thermodynamics teaches us that energy moves, transforms, and generates work only when there is a thermal potential difference between two sources. The physical universe is governed by this invisible yet universal law.

In Catholic theology, Mary represents the Lower Temperature Source: humanity in its purest, most welcoming, and created form. God represents the Infinite Temperature Source.

2. The Technological Parallel: The Two Distinct Reactors

The patented project is based on the duality and complementarity of two molten salt systems (MSR): a nuclear one and a natural one for thermal energy storage (TES). This exactly mirrors the Trinitarian and Marian dynamic:

• The Nuclear Reactor (The Son – The Sun at Infinite Temperature): This is the active source, the primary engine of clean and inexhaustible energy (the Th-U233 cycle). It represents Christ, the “Sun of Justice,” who infuses pure, saving energy into the world.
• The Natural Storage Reactor (Mary – Queen of Heaven): This is the natural thermodynamic system that welcomes the energy of the infinite source, stabilizes it, preserves it, and releases it gradually for the needs of the grid (humanity). Mary, like the thermal energy storage (TES), does not generate energy from herself, but receives it from the Sun, stores it in her “heart that treasured all these things,” and makes it usable, constant, and safe for the common good.
